TERMS OF USE

When you give us “VideoShots.net” (or the “site”) content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub licensable (through multiple tiers) right to exercise the copyright, publicity, and database rights (but no other rights) you have in the content, in any media known now or in the future. (We need these rights to host and display your content.)

Access and Interference

Additionally, you agree that you will not:

  • take any action that imposes or may impose (in our sole discretion) an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure;
  • copy, reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, or publicly display any content (except for Your Information) from the Site without the prior expressed written permission of VideoShots.net and the appropriate third party, as applicable;
  • interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Site or any activities conducted on the Site; or
  • bypass our Secured Areas or other measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the Site.

The seller and the buyer are responsible for making sure that the sale and purchase of any item on VideoShots.net is permitted under all applicable laws, rules and regulations. If you are not certain that the sale or purchase of an item is lawful, consult your attorney or an appropriate law enforcement agency. In addition, users are prohibited from listing or buying on VideoShots.net any of following items below. VideoShots.net has the right, in good judgment, to end any listing or transaction involving any of the following items, or anything else that we deem in good judgment, to be inappropriate.

 

  1. Any item that is counterfeit or stolen, or that violates or infringes the rights of another person, including copyrights, trademark rights, publicity rights, and privacy rights.
  2. Any item that would cause reasonably foreseeable harm to minors.
  3. Any item that is obscene or intended for “adult” use.
  4. Any item not appropriate for sale for health, safety or other reasons.
  5. Any non-collectible offensive weapon or a disguised weapon.
  6. Alcohol, beer, and wine.
  7. Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia or chemicals or raw materials used to manufacture illegal drugs.
  8. Prescription drugs.
  9. Medical devices.
  10. Tobacco products.
  11. Human bodies, body parts and bodily fluids.
  12. Animals, animal items subject to laws or regulations for the protection of animals, and products made from or containing parts of any animal protected by law or regulation.
  13. Any item that has been recalled by any governmental authority or agency or by its manufacturer.
  14. Any item used or intended for use to obtain unauthorized access to any type of communication.
  15. Any item used or intended for use to obtain unauthorized access to any place or vehicle.
  16. Fireworks and any other explosive device.
  17. Hazardous or restricted materials and chemicals.
  18. Stocks and securities.
  19. Gambling items of any nature.
  20. Event tickets, except in accordance with applicable state laws, and clearly stating venue, city and state of event, date of event, and face value of the ticket(s).
  21. Non-packaged food items, and any other food or beverage items except as permitted by applicable laws.
  22. Manufacturers’, retailers’ and any other gift cards or certificates.
  23. Government-issued identification documents, authentic or counterfit.
  24. Law enforcement items.
  25. Items from caves on federal land or prohibited by applicable law.
  26. Non-transferable items.
  27. Any item used or intended for use to produce counterfeit items of any nature.
  28. Any item that violates an Country’s export law or regulation or any Country’s embargo or other trading restriction.
  29. any item that promotes, glorifies or is directly associated with any group or individual known primarily for violent or hateful actions or stances.
  30. No binding contracts for the purchase or sale of real estate may be formed through VideoShots.net. Note: VideoShots.net does not charge a closing fee on real estate. Instead, the Buyer and the Seller must agree upon the sale of real estate in a manner consistent with applicable laws, rules and regulations, including any laws, rules or regulation requiring sales of real estate to be made by or through brokers licensed in the appropriate jurisdiction of each country.
  31. No binding contracts for the purchase or sale of any items sold or purchase may be formed through VideoShots.net.
  32. Any wholesale lists or information only items.
  33. Mobile phone service plans.
  34. Travel vouchers.
  35. Any item VideoShots.net deems inappropriate, in our singular and unconditional good judgment, from time to time.

 

Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including but not limited to:

  • Listing cancellation.
  • Limits on account privileges.
  • Account suspension.
  • Forfeiture of VideoShots.net listing(s).
  • Loss of purchased or earned status.
